We are happy and excited to announce that this Monday, August 9, 2021, we officially received the keys to our new production facility in Buxtehude. This is a big step towards the development and manufacturing of sustainable lignin-based ingredients for the cosmetic industry. This is also exciting for us because it means that the Lignopure family is growing and looking for new team members to operate our new Lignopure production plant.
Opening this facility is a huge milestone for us. This new facility will help position Lignopure as a pioneer in the manufacturing of functional and sustainable products from diverse lignin extracts for cosmetic formulations. The facility will host our production line in the coming months, where we will be able to process up to 90 tons of crude lignin from our partner biorefineries, which can then be transformed into different products like our LignoBase™ and LignoPearls™.
