At the DurchSTARTer-Preis 2024 awards night, Lignopure took center stage, winning in the Newcomer/Scale-up category. This prestigious award, organized by Investitions– und Förderbank Niedersachsen (NBank) and Niedersachsen.next Startup, recognizes the most promising startups in Lower Saxony.

Lignopure’s victory signifies a major step forward for sustainable innovation in the beauty industry. Lignopure’s patented technology transforms raw lignin, a readily available biopolymer, into high-performance ingredients suitable for a wide range of cosmetic applications. This breakthrough not only unlocks the potential of a previously underutilized resource but also empowers formulators to create effective and eco-friendly beauty products.

Lignopure GmbH is a pioneer in the utilization of lignin as a sustainable ingredient in high-quality applications such as home care products. It has now raised a further 2.4 million euros in equity capital.
